Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This page explains in simple words what we collect, why we collect it, and what choices you have.

Last updated: October 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to damagecalculator.us (“we”, “us” or “our”). By using this site, you agree to the way we handle information as described here.

The Short Version

  • You do not need an account, and we do not ask you for your name or email to use the calculator.
  • The Pokémon, moves and numbers you type into the calculator stay in your browser. We do not send them to our server.
  • We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site, and Google may show ads. Both can use cookies.

Information We Collect

Information you give us

We do not have forms, sign ups or comment boxes. The only time we get your personal information is when you write to us by email at admin@damagecalculator.us. In that case we get your email address and what you write, and we use it only to answer you.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our server and our tools may receive basic details when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages you open, the time of your visit, and the page you came from. We use this to keep the site working, to fix problems and to understand which pages people find useful.

What Stays in Your Browser

The calculator is built to work in your browser. The Pokémon you pick, your EVs, moves and the results are worked out on your device. When you make an image or a PDF of your result, it is also made on your device.

Your browser may save a few small things to make the site easier to use:

  • Theme choice. Whether you picked the dark or the light look.
  • Imported sets. If you import your own Pokémon sets into the calculator, they can be saved in your browser so you can use them again.

These stay on your device. You can remove them at any time by clearing your browser data for this site.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device. We and our partners use them to count visits, remember choices, and show ads. You can turn cookies off or delete them in your browser settings. If you do, some parts of the site or some ads may not work as expected.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to learn how visitors use the site, for example how many people visit, which pages they open, and which countries they come from. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar tools for this. The information is used in a combined way and not to name you. To learn more, or to stop Google Analytics from tracking you, see how Google uses data from sites that use its services and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Google DoubleClick DART Cookie

Google is one of the third-party vendors on our site. It also uses cookies, known as DART cookies, to serve ads to our site visitors based upon their visit to damagecalculator.us and other sites on the internet. However, visitors may choose to decline the use of DART cookies by visiting the Google ad and content network Privacy Policy at the following URL: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads

Our Advertising Partners

Some of the advertisers on our site may use cookies and web beacons. Our advertising partners are listed below. Each of our advertising partners has their own privacy policy for their policies on user data. For easier access, we hyperlinked to their privacy policies below.

Third-party ad servers or ad networks use technologies like cookies, JavaScript or web beacons in their ads and links that appear on our site. They get your IP address automatically when this happens. They use it to measure how well their ads work and to make the ads you see more useful. We do not have access to or control over the cookies used by third-party advertisers.

Third-Party Files

To work, some parts of the tool may load files (like scripts or data) from other servers, for example a content delivery network. When your browser asks for those files, the other server can see your IP address and browser details, in the same way as any website you visit.

Links to Other Websites

Our site has links to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy rules or their content. We suggest you read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Children’s Privacy

Many of our visitors like Pokémon, and some may be young. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you think a child has sent us personal information, please email us and we will delete it.

Your Choices and Rights

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
  • You can clear the data saved by this site from your browser at any time.
  • You can turn off personalized ads in Google Ad Settings, or learn more at aboutads.info/choices.
  • If you live in a place with privacy laws, such as California (CCPA) or the European Union (GDPR), you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct or delete it. Email us and we will help.

How We Keep Information Safe

We take sensible steps to protect the site and the little information we get. But no website or internet service is 100% safe, so we cannot promise complete safety.

Changes to This Policy

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. We suggest you check it now and then.
